    Hi Isaiah @Ochoa336 ,

    Face Project is the ‘old’ Face Snapping It projects from the viewpoint onto Faces. The Face Nearest Option is relatively new and it does this for instance:

    Without this Option, you’d have to Snap the Circle in parts to the Cylinder. (Yes, we had to do this for years and it always was a pain…think re-topologizing an arm or so…)
