I think as always with sculpting, it’s just getting some used to it. But firstly of course you have to make sure the horizon of symmetry is at 0, 0, 0. But overall you get used to knowing where to click and anticipate how the digital clay will behave. I remember seeing Kent in livestreams have that same issue but to a lesser degree, and he would slowly accommodate the lump if it split in two a little. But yeah, the more you practice, the more you get the hang of that finicky horizon line.
