Hi,
hmm … I subscribed to this thread but did not get any information about responses. That’s … a pitty, really, because I have now cancelled my subscription due to the problems described and don’t feel like changing that.
Trying to answer the questions: The courses are split up into many, many very short clips (a few minutes each), which doesn’t work at all for me (I tend to listen at double speed to get the gist of it, TRY MYSELF and then wind back to where I missed something if I fail).
Unfortunately, I live in a country that does not have reliable internet connections (Germany) at the same time that I have time at my hands. “Streaming” would be cool if I was getting paid for watching videos online, alas, I have to work for my money, so I can only really have a look at videos when internet is wonky at best. Downloading (“buffering”) videos is the only way I can make use of such courses.
Sure, it’s a valid response to say “nobody sold you downloads” – but so is a customer giving feedback that this has driven him out of subscription.
(deleted a lot of unnecessary rambling that doesn’t help anybody).
Best,
Marc
P.S. since I do not get any notifications about responses, please do feel free to contact me directly if you’d like to discuss anything!
