Chunck will know better, but if you’re referring to the resolution, we usually make the mistake to look at our models way too up close, resulting in a pixelated look, when the reality is we’ll never see the model so close or perhaps it’s the nature of an image to pixelate at some point and not even an 8K will hold, so you always have to ask yourself from where is the model going to be seen. When it comes to the seam, how it changes drastically not only in resolution but in lights and shadows, there’s probably an error there that should be fixable. Most likely the UV island sizes vary too much or maybe the seam doesn’t need to be there. Anyways, that’s getting into the weeds.
