You can never blindy Copy/Paste Values from a Tutorial, but this is especially true for SSS. You can use them as a starting point, but even if you end up with drastically different Values, that doesn’t mean that something’s wrong, or that it’s because you’re using a different Blender Version.
You can create a simple test file in the older Blender Version and then open it in the new Version. See if it looks the same (it should) and if and how the Values in the Node have (automatically) been changed.
