I use both honestly. A mouse gives a more precise (restricted) movement while the wacom is much more free-form. Both work fine for stamping pore detail.
If I recall correctly, in this video I believe I’m using a mouse because I hear subtle clicks. I usually prefer a mouse more when the mesh is really dense and kinda sluggish.
