It’s almost done — such a long journey!
I’m trying to produce 1 whale per week, that’s my goal, but 2 whales per month has been a solid pace so far. I simply can not produce them faster than this. But its all good)

    1. Base form: it is not polished yet.

    2. Base layer. Usually it takes 3 or 4 layers to go deep enough under its skin.

    3. Some details: bumps, scars, tiny little marks. Usual thing for whales. Although blue ones are way smoother than the others.

    4. Final deep dark blue layer:

    5: Some fine details:

    6. And golden sparks too! Really love them. There is so much fun to find a way to put these colors on that skin. I use brushes, clothes, sponges, fingertips, toothpicks. Tools are everywhere!

    7. Gonna pour some resin over that whale:

    8. And pouring it over! There are 2 layers of resin now. And I’ll have to wait for awhile and then add another 2 layers with some foam and white threads.
