@ajamesliptak There is a lot to gain as long as you feel comfortable knowing where stuff is in 2.8 and feel comfortable getting around in the interface/program.
There are lot’s of modeling tips and gold nuggets to be found going through the older coursework. Blender is still pretty similar with a new paint job.
