All of the Concept exercises I’ve used do have layers, but Krita (I do believe) handles basic Photoshop files just fine so I doubt that part is an issue.
The brushes, though, if you don’t have Photoshop there is no way to save the raw .png of the brush to be able to manually import them. I’ve tried several solutions to this myself and without doing it from Photoshop nothing actually works out.
Now, for the most part, you don’t need the brushes they provide here. I mean yes they are nice but the only one that I’ve noticed that you can’t find something similar for is the perspective ruler brush though if someone will export the raw .png for that one I’ll happily make Krita and CSP brushes for it.
