Being on Mac complicates things, they are so closed with their ecosystem, hardly anything works in it. And to make matters worst, there’s the whole USB Type C thing. I say that because a guy at work bought a none-Apple keyboard for his MacBook Pro and it lags so much it’s practically unusable. Tried all the drivers for both the keyboard and dongle, still it’s the worst. So I’d stick with Apple things? Maybe there’s no other one than the magic keyboard? I guess for me as long as the keyboard has the numpad, I’m good. Maybe wireless is cool too. Key press travel not so much.
