Was intending to delve back into the Fundamentals this week, but a nagging voice reminded me of something I had started after the Press Start Tutorial. No, it wasn’t my inner voice, but the better half asking me about a simple guitar I had began just to see if I could do it. So back to work I go, thinking I can add a little more to it and be done. That little kept expanding. After getting stuck on a part, she asks ”Why don’t you just watch the video?” Evidently she thought I had started a tutorial and had quit on it. Either way, I learned a lot through trial and error. I also learned how much effort can be put into finding the right reference images. While I’m not completely happy with the results, I’m gonna move on for now. I can see the improvement in my skills between the base and neck (which I had made originally), and everything I’ve added this week. I may do another later and use this to compare with. I’m getting more comfortable with the program, and thankfully I had some help here when I was stuck. This led me to something I hadn’t got to in the course.
