Late reply – I’ve used ChatGPT to try to get answers on Blender questions and yes, it’s not super great. It’s looking at ALL the Blender information available which includes older versions (even if you tell it otherwise) and advice that is just plain incorrect. In some cases it can get entirely confused and give answers based on information related to other software.
That said, I’ve found ChatGPT somewhat useful in giving me the terminology I need to search online for better information. I can ask it a question in casual language and it infodumps a reply which hopefully includes terms I can then search for.
