Hey! This is a bit late, but I encountered the same issue. I made sure Individual was unchecked, but it was still happening. It turns out some of the previous operations I performed created duplicate vertices on the portion we have to inset for the cartridge. I was able to resolve it by selecting all vertices in my mesh in Wireframe mode, pressing M and selecting By Distance. I hope this helps!
