Those kind of drawings usually aren’t very accurate. Don’t let the name blueprint fool you! These are just drawings. Blueprints are copies, usually only made from technical drawings, when high precision is needed. The process is more expensive than a Xerox, but it doesn’t have any ‘lens distortion’ like a Xerox copy.
You’ll just have to work with what you got, but don’t trust it too much;)
