What I was referring to is the scene background image. No matter what I do it is just blue when I go to render view, and none of the transparency settings are working for me ( I Get black where it should be transparent). I am using the BI start source file. From the beginning I could not get anything to look the same as the lesson. I finally took the BI start file and the BI finished file to compare side by side to see what steps I missed. First of all, the BI start file opens in cycles render when I open it. I thought that was something I did and accidentally saved it that way, so I downloaded it again, and the fresh download still started up in cycles render. I figured that didn’t matter, so I just changed it to Blender Render, and started following along, and still when I go to render view everything besides the objects are the sky color. I am guessing once I get the environment correct than my transparency setting will work like it does in the tutorial. All the settings work correctly in the final source file.
