12, that’s the beginning of the teen rebellion years. Diplomacy is still the best way to go even though it might be really energy intense. Be sure though that you are not rotating in edit mode or something or having selected individual origins making him rotate on its own instead of with you.
You’ll notice my parenting advice is still beginner level, my kids are only 7.
