Oh dude, thats a lot of praise. All I can advice you is to just get your hands dirty now. Open blender (or sculptris) and start bashing in that sphere. It requires minimal setup (in the case of dyntopo or sculptris it actually requires zero prep) and you can treat it like a sketch. Doodle in 3d so to speak. 🙂
