To be more exact: Musgrave is still available, but integrated in the Noise Texture.
Blender development goes really fast with 3 to 4 new releases each year, coming with new features, but also shortcut and other (for ‘beginners’ annoying) changes.
This is why it is recommended to follow along with the blender Version a Course was recorded in.
