Sorry you’re having frame rate issues.
These files shouldn’t be difficult for your computer to handle but here’s a couple things to check.
– Display in solid mode (not material or rendered mode) that will slow it down a lot
– Limit the amount of 3d views and animation editors you can see. (each one takes your computer’s power when hitting play)
– You can change it to ‘frame dropping’ > ‘sync to audio’
– Is your computer doing anything else at the same time (spotlight indexing, 700 tabs open on your browser, editing that awesome YT video you’re working on etc)
– Does it run slow on a new blank file (open it up, hit play, does it it 24fps)
– You can also turn on simplify under the scene settings. (add this to your quick favourites so you can enable/disable really quickly)
