Yes this is true.
It’s annoying because if you create a proxy, you have to disable the visibility in the original rig.
But if you use Library Overrides, you should NOT do this.
Library Overrides are still buggy as hell but since the Blender Animation Studio is using it in their current production I’ve got my fingers crossed that Blender 3.0 it will be production ready.
I have tried using it on many projects since it’s release and I have come across many shop stopping bugs every time….when will I learn!?
Although having said that, the current personal project I’m working on, I’m trying it again and it hasn’t crapped out yet,,,,,so that’s promising (Blender 3.0 Alpha)
