    @fide Yeh reference and anatomy is really important. It’s something I’ve realised recently myself. I used to think that even for unique creations that don’t exist in the real world or stylized drawings you don’t need to know anatomy. However, I was dead wrong because if you want to stylize the human body you need to know what it should look like un-stylized. Well that’s my opinion anyway. 

    Anatomy reference books are great but personally my problem is that I have to actually open them and look for the reference I want. I’m planning on investing on some 3D ecorche figures to supplement the books I have. That way it sits on my desk all the time right next to me when I’m doing 3D or 2D. The fact that it is just there 100% of the time makes it super easy to reference and you don’t really have to think about it. They can be pricy for good ones though so I’ll have to save up 🙁
