Hey @jose221981 Good on you for owning up to it. We all have our grumpy days (myself included). 🙂 I fully agree on getting the most out of the material provided whatever it may be. It happens often there are multiple ways to achieve the same goal, the terminology of software is slightly different or the process as its shown is close to what you need but not quite. Being able to see through those issues and still learn something from it is not only useful but I think essential in this field.

With that said, criticism is also very valuable, because it can help CGcookie (or anyone really) to improve. And, talking from personal experience, sometimes being validated in your feeling that something could have been more clearly explained, worded better or even that its just a tough subject to learn can be very helpful too. I’ve had many times, and still have, where I felt stupid for not getting something and hearing that your not the only one struggling with it is sometimes the best medicine to get your spirits back up and try again.

All this to say that I feel both are important. I look forward to seeing you around, be it with questions and/or art. 🙂
