Excellent Answer Omar! Your answer here not only answered the same question for me, but also helped me understand how to truly delete excess Materials and even excess primitives when I delete primitives so I can start clean for each of Jonathan’s videos.
It also helped me see a little more about how Blender works under the hood. I was wondering why in the world the subsequent cubes would be Cube.001, .002 and .003 when I had already deleted the previous one. This tells me that when we delete things from the outliner and the view-port, they are still not deleted ‘in fact’.
You just stopped a lot of future headaches. Also good to not have to look through many generated materials when you just want to find things quick.
