I think that’s super normal what you describe feeling, and I believe that goes away with time and practice and making lots of mistakes, that’s an important one. Because I don’t think if you get a list of things you have to do and things to avoid, only by reading it you’ll be all set, I believe when it comes to 3D modeling, you have to get a feel for it, you have to mess up so your brain starts knowing things in advance. You have been down that road before so many times, your brain starts to anticipate what’s the best way to approach modeling decisions. And again, that starts to come online by modeling a lot and messing up a lot, starting to model something only to find out later it wasn’t the best way to start and then starting over.
So just be watching lots of tutorials and modeling a lot you’ll get to develop that feel. You just have to keep at it and don’t be afraid to make things the wrong way. Even super experienced Blender users mess up a time or two before feeling the aha! moment of I’m in the right track now. They explore first, then they commit. So yeah, just keep watching courses, it’s like your daily vitamin intake or daily exercise to develop your brain muscles.
