You’re on the right track @navik! Crevices look much better and overally improved wood aesthetic.
The only suggestion I have for your wood is to tighten the crevices so they’re not broad. You can do this with the Pinch brush + locking the axis that aligns with the depth of your crevice. If your boards are lying flat on the grid floor, you would lock the Z axis when sculpting:

If they’re facing forward then you would lock the Y axis. This will pull the crevice closer together while maintaining the depth.
Other than that you’re wood looks good to me! 👍
