I am not sure, but I think that the author was Thibaut Bourbon. I can’t find his YT channel (if he has one), but there is a website, although it looks like it hasn’t been updated for some time (it has a contact form though…).
But, if you want, I can make a video, showing you how to make something like this in modern Blender; it is actually a bit easier now.
