I’ve been learning Blender for a year, I’m not just starting out.
I posted this question more for the benefit of other people who are starting to learn with more current versions (v3.X) and don’t want to rollback to v2.67.3 but would appreciate better categorized and grouped courses according to version functionality, or additional videos that address changes.
Such an easy solution should be mentioned in the course or video description.
Not being able to use the grid for size reference because X extrusions have to be done in perspective doesn’t seem like something I will EVER be thankful for. Ctrl-Z solves mistakes and learning from mistakes is the better path to truly learning.
Anyone can follow instructions.
Only some actually learn.
I’m watching everything for information and understanding, but more practical information and understanding would stop interrupting lessons more than they currently do.
I thank you both for the help, much appreciated.
