Hello. I always call Press Start a tech demo more than a full on tutorial. JL says he wants to show what Blender can do and his approach to modeling here probably reflects that. It’s more about addressing situations with different solutions, be them sometimes the most efficient or other times not, it’s just to show a thing or two.
