Sounds like one or more of those edges is the culprit then! Clamp Overlap only takes into account edges which are actively being beveled, so if excluding those fixes it then the issue is in that area. Usually turning Clamp Overlap off will give a visual clue about where the problem is because it might look like a mess in one area, but if not I’d be happy to look at the file if you’re able to upload it somewhere.
