    @tastan I like the pivot you’ve made toward the combat knife. The model and texture have progressed nicely!

    You make a good point that the plastic handle is mostly a solid color in reality. And if it were a brand new knife, there would be very little reason to do differently. But brand new CG knives are typically less interesting to look at than one that has damage and signs of age.

    Here’s a great example from Chris Plush on artstation:

    Notice the subtleties in the colors, reflective qualities, chipped paint of the blade, and edge highlighting of the handle. I think you can add these same subtle details to your knife where they’re most subtle in the color but most noticeable in how they effect the final material.

    As for the assignment, you’ve earned an A from me 👍
