@jamesley I have to echo Spikey in saying that this model looks better than the reference. Wow, you really knocked this one out of the park. It’s an A+ in my book.
I have never done texturing since I started blender and after watching some tutorial it seems complex
The model is pretty complex, so if you can handle that I think you can handle the texturing too. The key in my opinion will be to simply the whole down to it’s key pieces. That’s what I always do with complex tasks. All together it’s overwhelming, but one key piece after another is manageable. Then before I know it the whole thing is complete.
