@yukinoh1989 The taper is one of selections you can choose of the simple deform modifier. However, I just looked back at my file and I used twist not taper..sry bout that. You must first add the simple deform modifier then choose twist. Here is a screen shot of the scene without mateirals applied and the modifier panel open. Hope this helps.
