@theluthier Well dang, that’s a high amount of praise, thank you very much! I’m quite humbled.
I always like giving my scenes some purpose outside of “Here’s this cool thing I made,” (which is fine, of course, I do it as well), ’cause as you said, the added context gives meaning to everything. I especially love doing it (theoretically anyways) in complex scenes where you can stare at it for ages and still find new details. Maybe that’s what I should be aiming for? Could be fun.
It’s quite surprising and heartwarming that I’ve managed to help and/or inspire a few of you – either directly or indirectly – in CG. That alone makes any stress worth it.
