My name is Erik. I have been learning Blender since 2.79 but I still feel like a beginner.
I have a job that has me looking at a lot of construction drawings, so I find myself thinking about what it would take to do 3d models of buildings. In particular I am fascinated by concrete buildings in the Brutalist style, and I wonder what it would take to model things like that.
I am a member of a users group that was meeting in a library until the lockdown happened, and then started meeting on Zoom. Even after the library re-opened to the public we decided to stay on Zoom because it’s easy to screen share the software demo and some of us live far away from the library.
