Actually yeah, either a podcast, or a video. I’m fortunate enough that at my workplace I can put on headphones and listen to whatever I like – so I’ve made my way though many (many) podcast interviews with people that work across the CG industry, be it Denoise, CG Spectrum, and even Andrew Price’s discontinued podcast (CG Spectrum has been particularly good for getting to listen to more women talk about their work too). This was all prior to finding out that animation is the rabbit hole I’d like to dive into.
To perhaps elaborate more as well – The videos or podcast interviews I’ve listened to have been more about work experience and “origin stories”, which are absolutely inspiring and motivating of course – and I’ll keep listening to those, and by all means I’ve love any recommendations on that front.
But in regards to animation videos/podcasts, maybe what I’m after is more of a ‘play through’, kind of like someone streaming a video game, but instead they’re working on an animation while (ideally) talking about what they’re doing?
