I am also a little confused about your question, however I understand that there is a discrepancy in calculating the Texel Density with Sync mode on or off.
Could you explain what you’re looking to do and how this discrepancy is creating an obstacle for you?
I’ve tried replicating it on my end but I was unable to. Based on how the unwrap looks on the model, I would say your Texel Density looks fairly consistent!
