      For the life of me I can’t seem to find the “lock area plane” option in the brush’s panel. I can get a pretty close results with the square falloff, but not as good as with the lock. Anyone had the same issue?

        Like most things in 2.8, the function is still there but moved and labeled differently. Now it’s a checkbox under “sculpt plane” called Original Normal. When checked it serves as the lock function.

          2.82 seems to want original normal and original plane ticked…
