How do I remove a shadow?

I’ve turned off cast shadows but I’ve noticed the cast shadow is where the object used to be. I’m not sure what to do.

I would like to append a png of the issue but the system keeps telling me something went wrong.

You probably need to disable shadows on the light.

I deleted the light at the very beginning before I started modeling.
