Perpetual Character Movement Issue Resolution Information

This is a follow-up FYI an my previous question regarding my issue with perpetual character movement. In the Input Manager I saw there are Horizontal/Vertical tabs at the top, and another set of Horizontal/Vertical tabs near the bottom of the Tab list. When I deleted the Hor/Vert tabs at the bottom, the issue was fixed. I have no idea why there are duplicate tabs or if this will cause issues later on, but that was the quick fix.
