First and foremost check out The Blender Requirements . Look for a laptop that meets the requirements and your needs. You say you want your laptop for use on the train, the minimum requirements stats “Mouse, Trackpad or Pen and Tablet”. A Trackpad or a Pen and Tablet will be harder to use for modelling. A mouse would be the preferred option. Think about your train journey, does the train have a table or a surface to use a mouse. You can use a laptop with trackpad for modelling, I have used one before, but it is more difficult, if you are learning Blender you don’t want to make it harder than it needs to be.
It all comes down to personal preference, and you will need to shop around, but always keep in mind at least the minimum requirements.
