      I did little experiment and have a funny result.

      All settings are the same except mass.

      A box on plane have 200 mass.

      200 mass box fall through plane.

        That is odd, try increasing your steps per second to be 120 or 250.

          120 steps, same result

          250 steps, cube doesn’t penetrate and bound to somewhere.

            Cool, glad that worked! It’s also helpful to increase the scale of all the objects. So if everything is tiny, try scaling everything up by 10, applying scale, and running it again.
