      Covering the faces to the right of the inset isn’t explained.

      I figured out how to make it look right switching to vertices and doing some extra steps but what you did seems to be only one step and it was covering the faces and I just have no idea how it was done that quickly.

      Also, what was the select similar operation meant to do that was before this?

        Move the inset at 1:46 to cover the faces to the right of it? This would’ve been nice to point out.

          Hey Paul, for that I unchecked ‘Boundary’ in the operator panel (also F6), which makes it so that the inset connects to any boundary loops.
