how long did it take you to paint

Hi, I was interested to know outside of the time lapse video how long roughly did it take you to paint this texture? Its taking me quite a while to get it right but that is because I’m learning. It would be quite nice to know how long a professional might take over a simple piece like this.

Hey, it definitely does take time! I practiced it a few times before recording the video, so that goes pretty quickly. On my first try, I think it took me about four hours or so. However, I’m not very well practiced when it comes to texturing, so someone who focuses on texturing specifically could probably do the same in about an hour. But for now, don’t worry about how long it takes! It’s better to spend a lot of time polishing one project than little time on a bunch of projects. Just keep at it until you can be proud of the final result 😊
