      I have no idea what went wrong. This should be as simple as clicking two checkmarks. How did I screw that up?

        Thanks, that did the trick! Also, I had mostly forgotten to add faces to the mesh, which added to my confusion. I’m still a newbie when it comes to dealing with the basic stuff such as designing stuff with vertices.
