I don’t suppose texture paint mode has the ability to import materials and/or textures? This process is really hitting a nerve with me, not having found the ability to do so.

I’m not sure I understand, because the answer to me is obviously “Yes” but that we’re not on the same page concerning those terms. So what you mean by “import materials and/or textures”?
