      At the end of the consolidation video you said do the same with the normal and specular maps. When I did it with normal maps each successive map makes the previous ones white washed. When I did it with the specular each one hides the previous ones. I have no idea why I followed the same steps as in the video. How do I fix this?

        Are your normal and specular map bakes rendering out with alpha channels?

          yep, for the specular maps I realized that the bake for the individual specular maps were on a black background rather than no background and when I erased that black background it fixed that issue and for the normal maps I just tweaked the premul in each of the nodes and that seemed to fix it although I have no idea why lol
