I might need to see some images or video of what you mean. Or even the file itself.
But I don’t think you want to be scaling the squash control, but rather translating it. I don’t think I locked them in the videos, which I would normally do, as to not add extra information to the video that wasn’t 100% needed.
But I might be totally off base with trying to imagine what’s happening in your file which shouldn’t be.
