I’m trying to make the head mesh wider like you do around 9:11 in the video and when I am in the front view and pull the sides of the head it only effects the front portion of the head and not the rear section of the head. The only way I was able to make it effect the whole head was to make the brush radius huge, around 375px but when I do that it makes the beak really wide as well.

Sorry, the question got submitted before I had finished. I’m using v2.77 and have Dynotopo set to 20%, subdivide edges, constant detail and area plane. Any suggestions on how to make it effect the whole head instead of just the front?

I think I figured it out. It’s my inexperience with sculpting and the sculpting tools that’s making my model look like a parrot imagined by H.R. Giger or H.P. Lovecraft…

            Haha imagining said parrot…

I’m glad to hear you figured it out! Sorry for the late reply – I’m trying to catch up on my backed-up comments queue.
