maybe i should’ve realized that fact after the only result from searching rusted gold is from a video game (dark souls’ rusted gold coin)…oh well! I still enjoyed painting the rust, though 🙂
@syaz There really is something to be said about artistic license to break “natures rules”; freedom to create even if it can be scientifically disproven. Recently I watched Tarantino’s new film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” where he tells an alternate history story, similar to his “Inglorious Basterds” film as well. It’s so interesting what this kind of freedom that flies in the face of objective truth can do to my brain – it can be fascinating and thought-provoking to say the least.
I say all that to say that in the land of artistic creation, gold can definitely rust and you’re right to have enjoyed painting it 🙂
