Hello!

At 9:29 you are in wireframe mode pressing down control and using your left mouse button to select those verts, how? doesn’t work for me. Couldn’t find the solution from the fundamentals.

For me the lasso select is Ctrl+RMB drag. I think this is because I changed selection to use left button in the preferences
